Bayelsa lawmaker, Agala, facilitates construction of strategic road in Okpoama

The lawmaker representing Brass Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Timi Omubo Agala, has facilitated the construction of a new road in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

Before the execution of the said road linking a marine hub called New Camp, the area was impassable as a result of its sandy nature.

Our correspondent reports that indigenes and residents of Okpoama are delighted as the road has provided great relief to them.

The lawmaker, while commenting on the new project on Tuesday, said it remains his pleasure to facilitate projects that are significantly beneficial to his constituents.

“I facilitated this particular road – as a constituency development project – to provide absolute relief to our people who had difficulty while passing through the road,” he told our reporter.

He thanked the people of Okpoama for their steadfast support since he assumed office, assuring that “I will not let my constituents down by the grace of God.”

Recall that the lawmaker recently influenced new concrete roads as well as newly installed solar streetlights he attracted to Diema community via the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
