Bomadi APC Unanimously Endorses Perekeme Seleyeibo as LGA Chairman
In a unanimous decision reached on Saturday, 14th February 2026, political leaders, party elders, and key stakeholders from the ten wards of Bomadi Local Government Area endorsed Comrade Perekeme Seleyeibo as the consensus Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bomadi LGA.
The resolution was taken at a crucial stakeholders’ meeting held at Wetland Hotels, where leaders unanimously agreed to support Comrade Seleyeibo in strengthening internal unity and repositioning the party for greater success in the area.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Seleyeibo expressed deep appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him, describing the moment as significant in the political journey of the party in Bomadi. He pledged to uphold inclusiveness, integrity, and consultation in the discharge of his duties, assuring that Bomadi APC is fully prepared to deliver Sheriff Oborevwori, Bola Tinubu, and other party candidates in the 2027 general elections.
To ensure fairness, equity, and proper ward representation, a zoning committee chaired by Hon. Pius Labo, with Mr. Tony Enai Bouba as member, was constituted to distribute party positions across the ten wards. The committee’s work culminated in the presentation of a consensus executive list, paving the way for the unanimous adoption.
The meeting was coordinated by the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, and was attended by top government functionaries, political appointees, party stalwarts, and community leaders.
Comrade Perekeme Seleyeibo’s unanimous endorsement signals a new era of cohesion, inclusiveness, and strategic consolidation within the APC in Bomadi, reaffirming the party’s commitment to internal democracy, fairness, and collective leadership ahead of future electoral engagements.
