The program covered various fields, including:
- Make-Up: 43 participants received training and full starter packs to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys.
- Wig Making: 23 participants received training and full starter packs to begin their entrepreneurial ventures.
- Painting: 13 participants received training and a grant of #100,000 each.
- Catering: 96 participants received training and a grant of #100,000 each.
- Shoe Making: 28 participants received training and a grant of #100,000 each.
- Moniepoint Beneficiaries: A separate list of 23 beneficiaries received support through Moniepoint terminals and a grant of #100,000 each.
- Entrepreneurial Beneficiaries: 74 participants received training on entrepreneurial skills and received a grant of #100,000 each.
This empowerment program demonstrates our administration’s commitment to supporting the youth in Bomadi Local Government Area, aligning with the M.O.R.E Agenda of His Excellency, Rt Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O Oborevwori’s initiative to alleviate poverty and empower women and young people through microfinance and skills training.
