2027: NDC Warri Federal Constituency Flag Bearer Pedro Vows to Restore Warri’s Lost Glory
High Chief Pedro Bekenawei, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer for Warri Federal Constituency, has called on the people of the constituency to support his aspiration to represent them in the House of Representatives come 2027, promising uncommon representation and a renewed development agenda.
Bekenawei, while speaking on his vision for Warri Federal Constituency, said his ambition is driven by a genuine desire to restore the lost glory of Warri and position the constituency for sustainable growth and development.
He said he would work tirelessly to build what he described as the “Warri of our dream,” stressing that the development of the constituency requires unity, collaboration and a collective commitment from all stakeholders.
The NDC candidate also pledged to promote unity among the various ethnic nationalities that make up Warri Federal Constituency, saying his leadership would be inclusive and focused on bringing people together irrespective of ethnic or political differences.
According to him, the diversity of Warri Federal Constituency should be seen as a strength rather than a source of division, noting that meaningful development can only be achieved when all communities and ethnic groups work together towards a common goal.
Bekenawei further promised to collaborate with traditional rulers, political leaders, community leaders, youth organisations, women groups, professionals, business leaders and other stakeholders to attract development and improve the living conditions of the people.
He said his representation would prioritise initiatives that directly impact the lives of constituents, including youth empowerment, women empowerment and support for the elderly.
The NDC flag bearer emphasised that empowering young people with relevant skills and opportunities would help reduce unemployment and create a new generation of productive and self-reliant citizens.
He also pledged to support women through empowerment programmes and initiatives that would enable them to contribute more meaningfully to the economic development of their families and communities.
On the elderly, Bekenawei said his administration would not neglect senior citizens, promising to support initiatives aimed at improving their welfare and ensuring that they are treated with dignity and care.
He urged the people of Warri Federal Constituency to believe in his vision and give him the mandate in 2027, assuring them that he would make their interests the centrepiece of his representation.
Bekenawei said his aspiration was not merely about occupying a political office but about providing purposeful leadership, restoring confidence in representation and working with the people to transform Warri Federal Constituency.
He reiterated his determination to bring back the lost glory of Warri and build a constituency where unity, economic empowerment, infrastructure, opportunity and inclusive development would become defining features of the people’s future.
