Empowering Lives with Compassion and Commitment: Hon. Dagidi Andaye Rolls Out October Edition of BECEP & PWD Empowerment Programme

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Andaye, rolled out the October Edition of the Bomadi Elderly Citizens Empowerment Programme (BECEP) and the Persons With Disabilities (PWD) Empowerment Programme at the Dcns Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Event Centre, Bomadi.

This significant event reflects his administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive society that cares for its elderly and persons with disabilities.

In keeping with his pledge to prioritize citizens’ welfare, Hon. Andaye provided financial assistance and essential food items to over 300 elderly individuals drawn from the 10 wards of the Local Government, as well as 106 Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) who require special support. This thoughtful gesture recognizes the daily challenges faced by these groups and reaffirms the administration’s empathy and proactive governance approach.

Hon. Andaye emphasized that the BECEP and PWD Empowerment Programme remain key components of his people-oriented administration — one deeply rooted in compassion, social inclusion, and equity. He assured that the council would continue to implement sustainable initiatives that uplift the vulnerable, promote dignity, and strengthen community bonds across Bomadi.

Through this initiative, the Bomadi Local Government Council continues to demonstrate that true leadership is measured not only by development projects but also by how well we care for the most vulnerable among us.
