PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY: Otuaro Holds Town Hall Meeting With Niger Deltans in Lagos

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, on Saturday held a town hall meeting with Niger Delta indigenes residing in Lagos State to review the Programme’s progress and ongoing initiatives.

During the engagement, Dr. Otuaro outlined the achievements recorded under his administration, attributing the successes to the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He noted that the President’s commitment to the welfare and advancement of the Ijaw people has continued to guide the Programme’s renewed strategic direction.

The session also featured an open endorsement of Dr. Otuaro’s leadership by members of the Niger Delta community in Lagos, who expressed confidence in his vision and approach to the development of the region.

The meeting was attended by community leaders, academics, youth representatives, and stakeholders, including Comrade Joseph Eva, Prof. D. D. Moro, Engr. Titus Posibi, Chief (Mrs.) Amarian Benedicta, Chief Mrs. Ogbogbo, Evangelist Agboro, Chief Emmanuel Fiawe, Robert Fiawe, Elder Regent Youmor, INC Lagos Chairman Prince Tonye Harry, IYC Lagos Chairman Comrade Owen Naphatin, Mrs. Rose Mary Aluko, among others.

The town hall reaffirmed the resolve of Niger Deltans in Lagos to support the goals of the Presidential Amnesty Programme and to collaborate toward sustainable peace and development in the region.
