Burutu Traditional Rulers Council Pays Condolence Visit to the Executive Chairman of Burutu LGA

‎Burutu_____________Burutu Local Government Traditional Rulers Council on Friday paid a condolence visit to the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Julius Takeme, PhD, JP, at his residence in Okotokoto following the passing of his mother.

‎The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Burutu LGA Traditional Rulers Council, His Majesty Bosu Dio, JP, the Ebenanawei of Iduwini Kingdom, who urged the council chairman and members of his family to remain strong and accept the loss as the will of God. He noted that death is an inevitable part of life and encouraged the bereaved family to take solace in God.

‎Also speaking during the visit, His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph Timiyan (JP), PhD, Agbonu I, the Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom and Chairman of the Council of Ijaw Traditional Rulers. He consoled the chairman and further described the loss as painful but emphasized that death is a natural part of life that everyone must eventually accept. He encouraged the council chairman to remain strong .

‎Responding, the council chairman expressed profound appreciation to the royal fathers for the visit, describing their presence as a great honour despite their busy schedules. He recounted the circumstances surrounding his mother’s passing, explaining that efforts were made to provide her with all the needed medical care, but ultimately God decided to take her.

‎He added that the loss was particularly painful due to the sacrifices his mother made for the family and the exemplary life she lived.

‎Among the traditional rulers present during the visit were the traditional ruler of Operemor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Ekioemi Oweiagbe John; His Royal Majesty Samuel A. Fuludu, Ogiogio II of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom; and His Royal Majesty King Polokowei Johnbull, Pere of Ogbolubiri-Mein Kingdom.

‎In a separate visit shortly after the delegation departed, the traditional ruler of Akugbene Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Pere S. P. Luke Kalanama VIII (JP), Ogiame and First Vice Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Council, also paid his condolences to the council chairman. He prayed that God grant the council chairman and his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

‎Joining the Council Chairman to receive the royal fathers were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Chief Mrs. Georgina Evah; the Secretary to the Council, Barr. Roland Ombe; the Head of Personnel Management (HPM); the Treasurer of the Council; family members of the chairman; and other top-ranking officials of the council.
