Following the official inauguration and sworn into office of the newly constituted Executive Committee of Odidi Federated Community led by Comrade Amb. Truston Gesikeme Gbenekama on the 13th Day of May, 2026 by the Elders of the community for the next four years, the Executive Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Hon. Chief. Sylvester Oromoni, has endorsed the new executives and formally written a letter of introduction to inform all government agencies, corporate organizations, security apparatus and the general public to accord the Committee the necessary recognition, cooperation, and support in the discharge of their duties.

This was disclosed on the 20th Day of May, 2026 through official letter signed by the Secretary to the Local Government Council (SLG), Mr. Christopher Tonwe, on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the Council, stated that Comrade Truston Gesikeme Gbenekama led Executive Committee constituted by the Elders of Odidi is the authentic and legitimate administration of the community saddled with the responsibilities to manage the affairs of the Federated Community for a period of Four years.
In the letter, the Executive Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Sylvester Oromoni affirmed that the newly constituted Executive Committee of Odidi Federated Community led by Truston Gbenekama is duly recognized and adopted following a critical stakeholder’s meeting convened at his office Ogbe-ljoh, in the presence of the Nigerian Police Force, DSS and other security institutions.

Therefore, the general public, corporate organizations operating in the jurisdiction of the Odidi Federated Community, and the security agencies are hereby enjoined to accord Truston Gbenekama led Executive Committee the necessary recognition, cooperation, and support in the discharge of their duties in the next four years.
