The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has unanimously affirmed former President Goodluck Jonathan as its presidential candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The decision was reached during the party’s Special National Convention held in Abuja on Saturday, despite controversy surrounding the convention venue and allegations of intimidation by authorities.
The PDP declared that it is united, fully mobilised, and ready for the 2027 general elections.
