Bomadi LGA Football Team punched their ticket to the finals of Delta South qualifiers of the Sheriff Jr. Oborevwori Unification Cup on Tuesday, defeating Burutu LGA 2-0 in a dominant semi-final performance.
Clinton opened the scoring in the first half with a brilliant strike, handing Bomadi a 1-0 lead at the break. The forward’s goal capped a lively opening 45 minutes that saw Bomadi control much of the possession and create the clearer chances.

Burutu pushed for an equalizer after the restart but were undone again when Moses doubled Bomadi’s advantage with a well-taken finish.
The second goal effectively sealed the result as Bomadi’s defense held firm to keep a clean sheet.
The 2-0 win gives Bomadi LGA a deserved move to the next round .
Speaking shortly after the match the executive Chairman of Bomadi local government council, Hon Dagidi Andaye Applauded the team for qualifying for the finals to be played on Saturday June 13th.
He assured them of the council support and urged them to win the next match.
Elated coach Okiki said victory is sure for the finals as his boys are fully prepared to become winners of the competition.
