Delta NULGE commends Andaye over workers welfare
Delta State NULGE leaders have commended the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, for his continuous support and commitment towards the welfare of local government workers. The union leaders described the council boss as a worker-friendly administrator whose leadership has continued to promote peace, cooperation, and effective service delivery within the local government system.


The commendation came during the monthly gathering of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Bomadi Chapter, held on Tuesday, 19th May 2026, at the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Event Centre in Bomadi, Delta State. The meeting was hosted by the Bomadi Chapter Chairman, Comrade Jude Elaela, alongside members of the union.
The event brought together the 25 Local Government Area Chapter Chairmen of NULGE across Delta State. The colourful gathering featured fruitful deliberations on workers’ welfare, productivity, unity, and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening grassroots governance throughout the state.

Shortly after the commencement of the meeting, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, paid a courtesy visit to the gathering and warmly interacted with members of the union. His presence added glamour to the occasion as he appreciated the workforce for their steadfastness, loyalty, and contributions towards making governance easier at the grassroots level.
Speaking during the event, Comrade Jude Elaela expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman for honouring the union’s monthly meeting despite his busy engagements. He praised Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye for prioritizing workers’ welfare since assuming office and assured him of the union’s continued support and cooperation towards achieving greater progress in Bomadi Local Government Area.
In their separate remarks, the 25 LGA Chapter Chairmen also appreciated the council boss for his people-oriented leadership style, inclusive administration, and unwavering support for workers across the state. They commended his commitment to staff welfare and pledged their continued dedication towards ensuring peace, productivity, and efficient service delivery within the local government system.
